Very happy with our experience with design a deck. Gary, Logan, Johnny, and Luke were did a great job and always took time to check in with us and clean up at the end of the day. Alec and Brandon did a great job communicating with us during the project. From start the finish it was a great experience.

The team did an excellent job from designing my deck cover, selection of materials, starting on time, showing up everyday, cleaning up each day, communicating daily plans, and even help resolve a pet problem for my dogs. This team has carpenters with 25 plus years of experience, there is nothing they can't handle. They are professional in every aspect of the job from start to finish. This is the 2nd time they have done work for me. Just amazing!

We recently hired Design a Deck for a large deck project, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. They went above and beyond anything other companies promised, and the quality of their workmanship is truly exceptional.
From the first meeting with Brandon and Alec, their professionalism and communication stood out. They followed up quickly, presented a great design, and stayed engaged throughout the entire project. Everything they said they would do, they did—and more. The work was performed perfectly.
The crew who handled the heavy lifting—Gary, Johnny, and Logan—deserve special recognition. They were personable, friendly, and communicated with us every step of the way. On any large deck project, changes always come up, but they never hesitated to ask our opinion and make sure we were happy with the direction. Their combined craftsmanship was excellent, and they made the entire process surprisingly enjoyable despite the hard work involved.
Gary orchestrated the project flawlessly, keeping things moving smoothly while maintaining great attention to detail. Johnny and Logan both brought impressive skill and pride to their work, and the three of them worked together like a well-oiled machine. They also offered professional suggestions based on their experience, and every recommendation they made contributed to a better final result.
The finished deck is beautiful, structurally solid, and far beyond what we expected. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

We couldn't be happier with our new deck and patio from Design-A-Deck! From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and truly dedicated to making our vision a reality. Brandon and Alec were always on top of things, providing clear updates and ensuring everything ran smoothly. The contractors—Gary, John, and Logan—did an outstanding job building it all, with impeccable craftsmanship and attention to detail. They were meticulous throughout the process and cleaned up everything nicely at the end, leaving our yard spotless. Their communication was top-notch (not to mention fun to talk with), addressing any questions promptly and keeping us in the loop every step of the way. The final result is a solid, beautiful addition to our home that we'll enjoy for years. Highly recommend Design-A-Deck—five stars all around!

We had a nightmare of a deck built by another contractor. After seeing a friend post about Design-A-Deck we gave them a call to see if they could help. Our deck was built so poorly we were not sure if anything could be done. We are beyond happy with the end result. To have another contractor come in to fix this mess ~ WE are Blessed and Grateful!!! Wish we would have used them from the start!!!

From the start of our project until the completion of our deck - customer service was exemplary. Our village personnel that issues the building permit said they have never received such a comprehensive package that they were able to approve so easily. Nothing was left out - everything was in perfect order.
When the team arrived to demo our previous deck, they explained everything in detail to us and kept our property so neat and well maintained during this process. Once work began on the replacement deck, they paid excellent attention to every single detail. We had areas with our prior deck that were not secured according to code, the guys reinforced our previous structure until it was perfect.
We could not be happier with our final product and Design A Deck was the easiest contractor we have ever worked with for building. Our deck is now one of the best in our subdivision and people walk by and give us compliments on how nice it looks.

Many thanks to all the guys at Design A Deck for installing my window pergolas! Many others wouldn’t even attempt to install these for me but Alec and Brandon made my wish come true! Gary, Johnny and Logan did an excellent job putting together and installing 3 fiberglass window pergolas for much needed sun protection and dressed up the back view of my house. Great communication and excellent customer service from start to finish! I highly recommend Design A Deck!

We cannot recommend Design-a-Deck more! We hired them for our existing deck demo and build of our new deck. Alec and Brandon were incredibly helpful in the initial meetings to talk through ideas and very responsive and patient without questions during the build. Our construction team — Jeremy, Kevin, and Tony — were nothing short of amazing. They were professional, timely, hardworking, and so kind, even going above and.beyond with the install of our umbrella into the deck. The job was done on time (actually sooner!), cleaned up spotlessly, and looked better than we even anticipated. The deck is so beautiful and we have always gotten many compliments on it. We truly enjoyed our experience with Design-a-Deck!

I always have doubts when dealing with construction companies or anyone in general that’s about to come to my property and do work. Brandon and Alec assured me that their team was going to be 100% professional on time and they were going to fulfill the task at hand. And to make a long story short, Design A Deck came through !!! They fulfilled everything they promised . I would refer them to anyone with no doubts in my mind that they are a great company . 10 Stars instead of 5 !!! Thank you Brandon, Alec , Jeremy , Kyle and Kevin .

Very happy with our experience! Brandon & Alec responded quickly to our initial quote request which was competitive with other bids.
We recently bought a house that had 2 decks that were both in bad shape and opted for Trex decking with vertical cable rails.
Communication throughout was excellent. Everyone showed up on time every day, and Jeremy and his crew were professional and did a great job.
Such an improvement over what we had just a few weeks ago - thanks again.
